What is Qigong?
Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice which combines movement, breathing and focus (meditation) to develop the body and internal energies. There are a wide variety of Qigong exercise, some for general development of the physical, mind and spirit and some which focus on specific goals, e.g. flexibility of the joints. The Qigongs are identified by a variety of names for example, Eight Pieces of Brocade, North Star Gigong, or Wild Goose Qigong. Qigong uses slow controlled movements to help energy flow through the body’s meridians or routes of energy flow.
